shipping and returns

Shipping:

We do our best to ship your orders promptly!

Once an order is placed, we usually ship it out that day or the next day.

High volume times like sales and holidays may take a little longer, but rest assured we will get your order to you as fast as we can.

Please keep in mind we are here Monday–Friday, so weekend orders are packed and shipped on the following Monday (or Tuesday, if Monday is a holiday!)

We now offer 2 shipping options - Standard and Rush!

Standard:  Your order will be processed in 1-3 business days, depending on volume.  We will use USPS Priority Mail, UPS Surepost or UPS Ground, at our discretion.  Actual shipping time ranges from 1-6 days.  This mostly depends on your proximity to us in Ohio, but let's be real...  it also depends on the promptness of the destination delivery driver. 

Rush:  For when you have to have it by a certain day!  We will process Rush orders as soon as we see them.  If the order is placed before 3pm Eastern, on a regular working weekday, we can get it to our UPS driver in time for same-day pickup.   Your order will be guaranteed to arrive in 2 business days.  Remember, business days exclude weekends and holidays.

If you have a P.O. Box, please include that in your shipping address.  

If you can only receive packages via UPS, let us know!

We spend the weekends and holidays with our families and pets, so please only count actual business days when calculating your order’s arrival.

You will receive an email when a shipping label has been printed.  Tracking info will be available once it has been scanned by the pick-up driver.

Returns and Exchanges:

 

 Sometimes, things just don’t go as planned… We get it. ;)

Art of Cloth will gladly accept any unworn, new, tagged and in mint condition garment(s) within 30 days from day of delivery for either refund, exchange or store credit.


We are happy to put your exchange on hold prior to receiving your return!

Please indicate a reason for each return on your packing slip. 

1.     Too big.
2.     Too small.
3.     Color.   (Please explain)
4.     Damaged.  (Please describe)
5.    Other.  (Please explain... i.e. I just looked too good in it and thus would've been intimidating to friends and relatives ;) )

We kindly ask you to allow 1-5 business days for your return to be processed. Processing may be longer during sales/holidays.  If the garment(s) meet our eligibility requirements, a refund will be processed and the even exchange (if applicable) will be shipped with no additional shipping fees. 

  • Shipping fees are not refundable.
  • Condition of returns is subject to staff assessment.
  • Mystery Boxes are NOT eligible for return or exchange.
  • We do not offer price adjustments on prior purchases.
  • Art of Cloth is not responsible for lost or damaged returns.

Price Adjustments:

Buying early guarantees that you will receive both the size and color your prefer.  We are a small company, and we make small runs of garments, so this cannot be taken for granted.  We do not plan specific discounts ahead of time, and instead operate nimbly based on what we have in stock, and this changes daily.  There is no guarantee that we will ever discount a specific item.  Thus, waiting for an item to go on sale to purchase it, necessarily allows for the risk that there will be size and color limitations.  So, to be fair to all our customers, we cannot offer price adjustments on previous orders.
